Frequently Asked Questions

How do I contact you?

In the first instance you can contact me via telephone or email. I will aim to respond to this within one working day.

What happens next?

I would suggest that we book an initial consultation where we can explore what has brought you to counselling. We can examine if this is the appropriate service for you and how we might work together. If you wish to proceed we will organise regular, ongoing sessions to facilitate this.

How many sessions do I need?

There is not a simple answer to this one as each client is treated as an individual. My scope of experience and training means that I work very flexibly and I am able to offer longer term or shorter term work – depending on your situation

How much does counselling cost?

Face-to-face counselling sessions £45
Telephone counselling sessions £45
Online counselling sessions £45

Are sessions Confidential?

Confidentiality is a central feature of my ethical position, ensuring that you feel safe to reflect and explore your experiences and concerns. However, as a counsellor there are some limits to confidentiality – these will be fully explained to you in your initial consultation.

What is the Cancellation policy?

Your session time is reserved solely for you so therefore sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice may be charged at the full rate. In exceptional circumstances an administration fee may be charged instead.
